Wordful Wednesday: The Ants Go Marching...

right up my foot! I'll have to warn you, if you don't like to look at other's feet don't scroll all the way down... Itch, itch, scratch. Itch, scratch, scratch, scratch.


We were out house hunting... Itch, scratch. Scratch raw.


...and I must have stepped on an ant colony because with in seconds of stepping in the grass they swarmed my left foot... Itch, itch, scratch, itch, scratch


...about two dozen of them attacking me visciously... Itch, scratch, scratch, scratch raw, bleeding. Itch, scratch.


...leaving me with pain in my foot... Itch, scratch.


...making it difficult to walk. Then, an uncontrollable itch set in... Itch, itch, scratch, itch, scratch.


Our realtor said they were fire ants... Itch, scratch.


I have counted about 18 bites between my feet and left arm... Itch, scratch, scratch, scratch. Itch, scratch.

The only thing that works is to scrub them real hard with dial soap and then to apply my Aveeno anti-ITCH cream through out the day... Ahh...relief.
