Our Little Piece of the Ranch

Hello and welcome! Won't you please come in? This house was built in '91 and is located in the heart of Cinco Ranch. Essentially, it is in move in condition. That's right we will live in a home that doesn't require any major repairs: no roof replacements or total renovation of the bathroom or kitchen. That was one of my stipulations but I never thought that I would actually live it. With in walking distance, we have access to a lake, tennis courts, playground and the beach club. The beach club is a man made beach-like pool.Numbered List

Please, take your off your shoes and stay a while. I am a little finicky about my floors being kept clean. Would you like a tour of our new home? Of course, none of the furniture is ours, so it will look pretty different when we occupy it.

This is the foyer...

the dining room...

my kitchen...with my very own island...Melissa's Isle...the stove top range is built into the island counter top which will take some getting used to...and those doors over to the right...the one on the left is a nice sized pantry and on the right is the laundry room...right off the kitchen!...a woman's idea, no doubt!

the breakfast area that over looks the garden...and the kitchen opens right in to the family room.

Over there you can see the refridgerator...to the left of the fridge is the oven with the microwave above. The stairs lead to a second floor game room, 3 bedrooms, and 2 full baths. I can't wait to set up my sewing and craft room...visions of drapes and dried flower wreaths fill my mind...and we'll have plenty of room for guests.
Please, come on upstairs...

this is the game room! Those built in shelves and drawers are pretty common here. Game rooms and media rooms are also...mainly, I think because they don't have basements.

I'll finish showing you the first floor...then, we'll go outside.
This is the family room...or den...

and this is the study...we might actually make it a living room...since it's pretty large for a study.

Now for the master suite...this is our bath...

and this is our bedroom...let's go out that door to the right...it leads right out to our...

our spacious backyard...it's very private back here and the patio is covered...I plan on having a small garden...Mmm...tomato and pepper plants...may be even a strawberry patio plant?

This will be David's workshop where he will have time to repair some antique pieces of furniture we have and craft some pieces on his own...this is a two car oversized detached garage...about 10 feet deeper than a standard garage...over sized garages are common here...Again, I think because the homes don't have basements.

Thank you so much for visiting. We hope you enjoyed your visit here with us. Please, feel free to visit anytime!
Thanks so much for visiting and remember to ALWAYS enjoy your own life's wild ride!
