Kathryn at Her Best!

Our first few days here, I went through many, many boxes but sometimes you just have to have a little bit o' fun! Here is a collection of pictures mostly of Kathryn since arriving in Houston. We hope you enjoy them!

Kathryn enjoys wearing clothing inappropriate for the season!

Here she's sporting her christmas moose slippers!

Kathryn and Daddy in the pool...she really didn't enjoy it at first...it took Daddy's attention and lots of giggles before she really started to enjoy the water!

The park at the corner of our street, made for kids just her size, is only a 5-1o minute walk!

Kathryn demonstrating how she washes her feet (and other part of her body she can reach!),

how she puts her shoes on, and "So, Big!" (while eating Cherrios! from Papa's cup!),

and feeding her baby!

Of course, mischief had no trouble finding Kathryn here in Houston!

Our "hoola girl!" She is actually wearing a dress, but she insisted on wearing it as a skirt! She has a new habit when we're in public. If she's bored or just unhappy with where we are, she starts undressing herself. Walmart, The Rainforest Cafe, David's work... Thankfully, this time she waited until we were home!

Thanks to Grandma and Papa, we had a zoo pass this year! And, we really got our use out of it!

The Houston Zoo has a fantastic children's area!

A COOL cool zone!

A "baby eaglet" and the "world's biggest kid!" I think she was absolutely thrilled to see him go down the slide with her!

The smelly petting farm!

I wanted Kathryn to start learning her colors, and I decided playing with balloons would make it FUN! We get as much repitition of the colors as we can in 10 to 15 minutes. Then, once we're done, we put them away so that she's interested when we take them out next time! I think they are also teaching her how to "catch" because of their sloooow decent!

"Rough housing" fun with Daddy!

Kathryn trying to contact...aliens...or...get her own internet connection, maybe?

Thanks so much for visiting and remember to ALWAYS enjoy your own life's wild ride!

This was a great blog! Each picture different and I laughed all through these. Kathryn is certainly having fun and from the pictures so is David!
