Visiting Corpus Christi on the Gulf of Mexico!

I wanted to share our trip to Corpus Christi, Texas while we were there. My plan was to post along the way, to give you the feeling like you were actually there. But, we had a pretty sloooooow internet connection. Finally, here it is...I hope you enjoy our pics!

Kathryn "entertaining" herself on our way there...

and trying to tickle herself with Eyore's tail, just like I had been doing!

Our hotel room view; beautifully spectacular!

Showing off...!

On the way to the beach...headed for a coastal barrier island...

This is the USS LEXINGTON, CV-16, a World War II-vintage aircraft carrier. It was commissioned in 1943, and she served the United States longer and set more records than any other carrier in the history of naval aviation.

Kathryn didn't like this part of our trip so well. Her thoughts were...I am bored, hot, hungry, and thirsty; get me out of here! So, we left with only having been on two of the five tours, which was fine because I had had it, too! It was hot and stuffy, and we were already there 3 hours!

The Texas State Aquarium...fun for all...Kathryn clapped and screamed for the dolphins! From the looks that she received from the other patrons, she was a show herself!

Thanks so much for visiting and remember to ALWAYS enjoy your own life's wild ride!
