Feeling tired and overwhelmed lately has caused me to make simple mistakes lately. For example, have been a skim milk ONLY drinker since 12 or so. I strictly adhered to it like it was law. For several days, I even kept thinking to myself, "Huh, even the milk tastes different here!" I didn't realize until the last few sips that I had bought the wrong milk!
My question for you is...
(for whatever reason) what silly things have you done before?

Being as old as I am, I have done "silly" things too numerous to mention. lol, mom
ReplyDeleteFor some reason I keep leaving my keys in the unlocked car overnight. Ughhhh. I also, the other day caught myself putting my sunglasses in the fridge. *?* Not sure why.
ReplyDeleteHmm that is a hard question. I can't think of anything real recent but I'll never forget when I was making pasta salad once in high school and I put the seasoning/dressing mix in with the boiling noodles. Oops. lol
ReplyDeleteOkay I thought of something rather funny. Once I was at K-Mart,parked and locked my car. Finished shopping, came out to the car and found I had locked my keys in the car. Went back into K-Mart and got a hanger, opened the car door like a pro in seconds. Got in the car and thought it looked strange, nothing in it was mine. I had opened the wrong car (the same color as mine. I quickly got out of the car, locked the door,just in time to see a police car patrolling the parking lot. Would have been funny headlines in the local paper: Policeman's wife arrested breaking into a car. How would I explain that one? lol, mom
ReplyDeleteI have put the icecream in the fridge one too many times... :)I have left my front door WIDE OPEN while going on for the day, MANY TIMES. Yep--I am pretty absent minded sometimes. :)
ReplyDeleteI had done so many silly things..I have stepped out of my flat without taking latch keys and got locked out for hours atleast 3 times! One day I was trying to open the flat one floor down our flat with my keys by mistake! Thank God the flat owener is my friend and still thinks the incidance funny!!
