Hooray, for the Red, White, and Blue!

Waiting patiently for the Fredricksburg, Ohio Fourth of July Parade to start! Kathryn is ready and waiting with flag in hand!

The Amish enjoy the parades as well. The Amish did not permit me to take their pictures. If they had known they would have turned so that I would photograph their backs. They believe pictures indicate vanity.

The parade was a lot of fun to watch. Kathryn only enjoyed watching it from the sidewalk where she was a little bit farther away from the loud horns and sirens. This year there more of a variety of vehicles to see! Not just what you see here but there were also tractors, semi-trucks, and trailors advertising their goods that are for sale in their local businesses.

This year my dad decided to drive his candy apple red 1964 Chevelle SS in the parade! He was up early that celebratory morning polishing her so she'd look her best! Look at her! Isn't she beautiful?

If you are ever in Fredricksburg, Ohio be sure to stop at the

for a buggy wash!

Thank you for visiting! Enjoy your own life's wild ride!
