Cloth diapering our daughter brings a few other chores with them: laundering, stacking, and putting them away. This is usually my chore, however; David helps when he can. Kathryn's only contact with the diapers up to this point has been to wear them, but on occassion she sees the full basket and will start to empty it ALL over the floor before I even get them stacked! So, imagine what a delightful surprise it was one morning when she helped me stack them! She handed them to me one by one, and with each one she bobbed her head and a gave her little whale like sound of, "Mmmm!" Afterwards, I made lunch while she played in the living room. I wasn't in the kitchen but two minutes when I passed threw the hallway heading for the living room. There she was sitting next to the laundry basket that once had ourneatly stacked diapers in it with the diapers NOW all over the floor! Boy, she sure is such a BIG helper! And she sure was proud of herself, too!
