first haircut

It was time for Kathryn's first haircut! Her hair was just getting too long and hanging in her eyes. My cousin Bob's wife Lisa owns her own hair salon. While we were there waiting for Grandma to be done with her hair appointment, visiting and playing with their dogs we asked if and she would give Kathryn's hair a few snips. Here's Kathryn with her very first haircut! I really have to give Lisa a hand for her shear cutting skills! It takes a lot to cut hair on a child who would rather be chasing after the dogs! And of course, we made sure to keep the cut locks! Look at that almost perfect halo around her head! She sure is an angel!

Afterwards, Kathryn enjoyed watching the swans that live in the pond behind Bob and Lisa's house. To see them this up close and personal was a rare treat. They are such a beautiful and graceful creature!
