At last minute Grandma, Kathryn and I decided to go to the zoo today, and we had 
a very nice time. "Lions, tigers, and bears, Oh, My!" Yes, just don't expect to see any elephants or giraffes at the Akron City Zoo! The Akron City Zoo was very clean but considerably smaller in comparison to the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo.

The Akron City Zoo was very clean but considerably smaller in comparison to the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo.Kathryn really enjoys penguins and she knew what to do right away when Grandma held her up to the penguin. She was so excited to go over to the penguin statue that it was difficult to keep from "jumping ship" from the wagon!
It wasn't terribly hot today but the sun was blazing and there were few clouds. Amazingly, Kathryn kept her hat on all day! She took it off several times when we were in the shade and even put it back on herself! Grandma and I were certainly impressed!
