It's a looooong plane ride to Houston, Tx!

It certainly is a long trip to Houston, Tx! Okay, maybe not for the average person, but when you fly with a 14 month old child, as I have, that makes for a pretty long 3 hour plane ride! She actually does very well on the plane. She is a real trooper! On this particular trip, I had her laughing quite a bit! I figured laughing was better than crying or whinning especially in such tight quarters. Afterall, I didn't want 200 strangers mad at me! While ascending we both had a snack, then she fell asleep! Once we exited the plane, I buckled her into the umbrella stroller. As another passenger passed us, he said, "That is a really sweet baby you have! You must be a fantastic mother!" This touched my heart! Mainly because it came from someone with XY chromosomes! We arrived on Thursday and stayed at The Woodlands Residence Inn. David came home with us the following week.

Kathryn had pancakes this morning! She even saved some leftovers on her face!
