Kathryn, Grandma, and I set out for the mall today to have Kathryn's 18 month pictures taken, visit with the Easter bunny, do some shopping (for myself) and have lunch. First, we had Kathryn's pictures taken at Kiddie Kandids. This was our first trip to have professional pictures taken. Enjoy! We were very pleased and thought that they were nice pictures of Kathryn. I MIGHT be a LITTLE biased but she sure is a cutie, isn't she?

Okay, hold on! Don't get too excited about our trip to the portrait studio. There's always a catch! If you're interested in seeing for yourself, go to Kiddie Kandids at http://www.kiddiekandids.com/ for a list of their pricing guides. Or, I will spare you the trouble. I should have looked at it yesterday and would have spared myself the trouble today!

ARE YOU READY? Drum roll, please!!!

Now that I've vented, I hope you enjoyed the pictures!
Then, we ALL went for a train ride! Kathryn wasn't permitted to ride by herself, so one of us had to accompany her. She had a great time! So much, that she didn't want to get off! She cried when we got off the train!
Next, we went to see the Easter bunny, but I couldn't get the picture to download to the blog with out it rotating. She sat on the Easter bunny's lap and didn't cry! Not even a whimper!
All in all, it was a fun day!
SO CUTE! Where did you get her pictures taken?? They are adorable! But what else could I expect from a cutie like her! :)
ReplyDeleteYa, Kiddie Kandids is a rip off. We went there one time because we had a free portrait--and that was all we walked away with. They really aren't professionals--at all. :) Just people with nice equipment and lots of props.
ReplyDeleteIf you ever want non-studio pics, I am happy to do some for ya, for free. :) I know how expensive it can get!
What a fun day!
How did you get all those pics? Did you end up buying a package? What a rip off. But every couple years, it's nice to go to a place like this. Just maybe somewhere LESS expensive. Try Picture People.??
